SPORLASTIC is the medical arm of the HAUBER Group of Nürtingen, near Stuttgart, founded in 1870 by Ferdinand Hauber and family-run for five generations since. The group has worked in textiles for over 150 years — it also owns the fashion label LUISA CERANO — and that is what the range is built on: latex-free 3D flat-knitted fabric with intarsia comfort zones and anatomically shaped AIR-MATRIX silicone pads, rather than the moulded plastic most bracing starts from. It is all made in Nürtingen.
We carry their orthopaedic programme across the knee and hip, foot and ankle, hand, spine, elbow, shoulder and thumb — the knitted HiT supports (MALLEO-HiT, GENU-HiT, EPI-HiT, MANU-HiT), the hinged and rigid DYN braces (GENUDYN, VERTEBRADYN, MANUDYN, EPIDYN), the NEURODYN foot-drop orthoses, and the MANU-CAST ORGANIC wrist braces.
