The CERVI-HiT® is a soft cervical collar that supports the head and limits how far the neck turns and bends. It is worn after a whiplash injury, for an acute or long-standing cervical pain syndrome, after disc or torticollis surgery, for rheumatological complaints in the neck, and for relief after an operation.

The collar is a shaped foam body with a reinforcing inlay running through it, so it holds its form without being rigid, and the inlay is air-permeable, which is what makes it tolerable overnight as well as during the day. A recess at the front leaves room for the chin and sets which way round the collar goes; hook-and-loop fasteners at both ends let the neck circumference be adjusted after it is on.

It is chosen by collar height rather than by neck circumference.

Wash CERVI-HiT gently in lukewarm water (30 °C) with mild detergent and air dry
Press the soapy water through the fabric and foam
Then rinse well with clear water, squeeze out the water evenly and dry at room temperature
Do not dry the brace in the tumble dryer, on the heater or in the microwave
Close the hook-and-loop fastener before washing the brace; this will prevent damage to other items of clothing

The chin cut-out at the front is used to line the collar up evenly on both sides.
CERVI-HiT can be individually adjusted to the neck circumference using the variable hook-and-loop fasteners at both ends.
