The OMO-HiT® is a shoulder and upper-arm fixation used in early functional treatment — where the shoulder needs holding but the arm is meant to start working again rather than be locked away.

A nopped silicone pad sits over the shoulder and works on the soft tissue underneath as the arm moves, while the straps hold the upper arm against the chest so the joint is not loaded. The forearm rests in a loop; that loop comes off, which is what lets the same brace be stepped down from carrying the arm to simply steadying the shoulder as therapy progresses.

It is fitted by chest circumference and comes in four sizes.
