The circular knit provides a firm hold for the thumb. The integrated silicone pad relieves the strain on the ulnar head and the volar reinforcing splint can be moulded thermoplastically.

Wash MANUDYN® POLLEX gently in lukewarm water (30 °C) with mild detergent and air dry
Do not dry it in the tumble dryer, on the heating or in the microwave
To wash, please remove plastic rail and close the hook-and-loop fastener
Tension in the knitted fabric that decreases over time is restored by washing
Sporlastic therefore recommends washing the support more often

Sporlastic prints these steps in the instructions for use supplied with the product.

Slip into the MANUDYN® POLLEX with the hook-and-loop fastener open and insert the thumb into the thumb recess provided.
MANUDYN POLLEX fits correctly when the volar reinforcement splint fits snugly against the muscles of the palm and the forearm. The recess in the integrated silicone pad encloses the bony stylus process of the ulna on the small finger side.
To stabilise the wrist further, wrap the broad elastic hook-and-loop strap right around the wrist with a measured amount of tension.
To remove MANUDYN POLLEX, open the hook-and-loop strap that wraps around the wrist. Grasp the support from the inside of the hand with your index and middle fingers, press your thumb against the reinforcement splint at the same time, and pull the support off the hand.
