Wash PATELLADYN® gently in lukewarm water (30 °C) with mild detergent and air dry
Do not dry it in a tumble dryer, on the heating or in the microwave
Any tension in the moulded knit that decreases over the duration of wear is restored by washing
Sporlastic therefore recommends washing the brace more frequently
Close the hook-and-loop fasteners before washing; this keeps the hook-and-loop fasteners working longer

Sporlastic prints these steps in the instructions for use supplied with the product.

Pull PATELLADYN® over the knee so that the silicone pad embraces the kneecap from the outside of the knee and rests against the patella. The patella should be located in the area highlighted by the knit.
To do this, open the two hook-and-loop fasteners and fasten the straps loosely to the velour, without pulling. This prevents damage to the knitted fabric. Now take hold of the support at its two upper ends and pull it over the knee.
Make sure that the silicone profile insert encloses the kneecap. This gives the patella a slight guidance.
The two straps of the support are connected to this profile insert. Pull the two straps gently right around the knee and attach the hook end of each strap to its matching loop strap.
Make sure that the edge of the support is not turned inwards or outwards and lies flush against the body.
To remove the support, open the straps and fasten them loosely to the velour again.
Now strip PATELLADYN off from the top, towards the foot.
