The CUBIDYN is an epicondylitis strap — a band worn around the forearm just below the elbow for tennis elbow and golfer’s elbow, and after surgery for either.

A silicone friction pad is attached to the inside of the band. Positioned two to three centimetres (about an inch) below where the muscle attaches to the bone, with its grooves running across the muscle, it presses on the muscle belly instead of the sore attachment, so the pull on the tendon origin is taken up before it reaches the painful point. The band closes through a deflection loop, which lets it be tensioned with one hand and re-tensioned at any time.

It fits either arm, and which side the pad goes on depends on the diagnosis: the outer side for tennis elbow, the inner side for golfer’s elbow.

Sporlastic recommends gently washing CUBIDYN and the silicone pad in lukewarm (30 °C) water with mild detergent and air drying
Do not dry it in the tumble dryer, on the heater or in the microwave
Close the hook-and-loop fastener before washing; this will keep the hook-and-loop fastener in good working order for longer

The CUBIDYN epicondylitis brace can be worn on the left and right.
Place the opened epicondylitis brace, with the silicone pad attached, on the affected forearm muscles so that the upper edge of the pad is 2 - 3 cm below the muscle origin. The pad should lie with its grooves across the direction of the muscle, so that it can relieve the muscle and give a friction massage.
Pass the narrow end of the closure band, which is fitted with hook tape, through the deflection loop and, with the forearm muscles relaxed, close the brace so that it sits comfortably and does not slip.
The brace is correctly seated when, during muscle activity (e.g. closing the fist), pressure is immediately felt from the pad on the muscles, which disappears again when the fist is opened.
Depending on the diagnosis, wear the brace on the outer side of the forearm (for epicondylitis humeri radialis) or on the inner side (for epicondylitis humeri ulnaris).
The brace can be continuously readjusted for optimal fit.
