Sporlastic EPIDYN Elbow Support

The EPIDYN® is a knitted elbow support with a dimpled silicone pad seated over the joint. It is worn for wear in the elbow, for ligament laxity, after an elbow sprain, for inflammatory states after a fracture or an operation, and for rheumatological complaints.

The knit compresses the soft tissue around the joint, and the pads work on it as the arm bends and straightens: the dimples give a light friction massage that helps swelling settle.

Sporlastic prints no epicondylitis indication for the plain EPIDYN — for tennis or golfer’s elbow the range offers EPIDYN AKTIV, EPI-HiT® or CUBIDYN.

Is this the right one for you?

Choose this if the elbow aches from overuse or a strain, with no specific diagnosis.

Pain when you grip or lift? Sporlastic EPI-HiT Elbow Support is built for tennis and golfer's elbow.

Diagnosed with arthritis? Actimove Arthritis Care Elbow Support is built for arthritic elbow pain.

Need firmer support? Bauerfeind EpiTrain Elbow Brace holds the elbow more firmly.

Can be worn on the right or the left.

  • Wash EPIDYN gently in lukewarm water (30 °C) with mild detergent and air dry
  • Do not dry it in the tumble dryer, on the heating or in the microwave
  • Tension in the knitted fabric that decreases over time is restored by washing
  • Sporlastic therefore recommends washing the support more often

Sporlastic prints these steps in the instructions for use supplied with the product.

  • EPIDYN can be worn on the left and right.
  • Pull the support over your elbow. The orange SPORLASTIC flag must be on the upper arm, the seam in the middle on the back of the elbow.
  • Position the ring-shaped recesses of the silicone profile inserts so that they come to rest on the two lateral joint projections (epicondylus lateralis and medialis).
