The EPIDYN® AKTIV is the EPIDYN elbow support with a circular strap added over it. The knitted support does the same job — compression over the joint with dimpled silicone pads that massage it as the arm moves — and the strap adds a second, separately adjustable band of pressure on the forearm muscles just below the elbow.

That is what extends it to tennis elbow and golfer’s elbow: the strap presses on the muscle belly rather than on the sore attachment, so the pull on the tendon origin is intercepted before it reaches the painful point. It is also worn for wear in the elbow, ligament laxity, sprains, inflammatory states after a fracture or an operation, and rheumatological complaints.

The strap tension can be changed through the day without taking the support off.

Can be worn on the right or the left.

Wash EPIDYN AKTIV gently in lukewarm water (30 °C) with mild detergent and air dry
Do not dry it in the tumble dryer, on the heating or in the microwave
Tension in the knitted fabric that decreases over time is restored by washing
Sporlastic therefore recommends washing the support more often

EPIDYN® AKTIV can be worn on the left and right.
For EPIDYN AKTIV, open the circular band.
Pull the support over your elbow. The orange SPORLASTIC flag must be on the upper arm, the seam in the middle on the back of the elbow.
Position the ring-shaped recesses of the silicone profile inserts so that they come to rest on the two lateral joint projections (epicondylus lateralis and medialis).
With EPIDYN AKTIV, fix the band circularly below the elbow. First guide the band from the inside over the upper side of the arm.
Set and vary the pressure of the band to suit your own needs.
