Epicomed® E+motion® is the sports version of the Epicomed elbow support: the same idea, compression plus a silicone pad on each side of the elbow, in a knit built for training, with merino wool for temperature and odour control and Dry Skin technology for moisture.

It is for cases needing soft tissue compression with profile pads at the elbow, such as tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, and joint wear or inflammation in the elbow.

The pads are 3D silicone-quartz and sit on both sides, massaging the area as the arm moves to reduce swelling and bruising, while the compressive knit can improve proprioception (your body's sense of where it is in space), which helps the body control and steady the joint. A removable strap carries a printed pressure scale, so you can set how much pressure the pads apply and repeat that setting later. The fit is ergonomic with an XL movement zone and an anti-slip system, and the cuff is stretch-ribbed so it suits a wide range of upper arm sizes without biting. medi calls the fabric 10 per cent thinner and 25 per cent tighter than comparable knits.

Is this the right one for you?

Choose this if the pain is on the side of the elbow and worst when you grip or lift — tennis or golfer's elbow.

Everyday ache from overuse? Bauerfeind EpiTrain Elbow Brace is a lighter support.

Diagnosed with arthritis? Actimove Arthritis Care Elbow Support is built for arthritic elbow pain.

Need firmer support? medi Epibrace Epicondylitis Strap holds the elbow more firmly.

  • Remove and clean any removable pads or cushions separately with water or mild soap
