Actimove® Manus Forte Plus is a strong-support brace that stabilises the wrist in a functional position and immobilises the thumb at the same time. A rigid aluminium stay along the palm and a circular inelastic middle strap stop the wrist flexing and stretching, and two further stays on the back of the hand add stabilisation.

Both aluminium stays are anatomically shaped and can be moulded by hand for an individual fit, and the palmar stay lifts out later in rehabilitation when less stability is wanted. An adjustable thumb closure crosses the back of the thumb to hold it steady.

The tubular slip-on design pulls on like a glove and can be applied and removed one-handed, the fingers stay free to move, and the fabric is soft and breathable for everyday wear. Ordered left or right.

Each Size is written as Size - Side:

Size — XS, S/M or L/XL, set by your wrist measurement
Side — Right or Left. The brace is cut for that hand and will not turn over.

Take both splints and the metal stay out of their pockets and close every strap before washing
Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30 °C (85 °F) with a mild detergent
Do not bleach, dry-clean, tumble dry or iron
Lay the brace flat to dry, and make sure it is completely dry before wearing it again
Avoid laundry additives such as fabric softener, brightener or stain remover

The straps go on in a set order; closing them out of order leaves the wrist loose.

Pull the brace over the wrist like a glove, putting the thumb into the thumb pocket
Close the upper strap first
Then close the lower strap
Then close the middle strap
Last, close the thumb closure diagonally over the back of the thumb
Use moderate tension: snug, without restricting the fingers
