The OLECRANON SUPPORT is a knitted elbow sleeve built around the point of the elbow. A silicone profile inlay rings the olecranon so that the bony tip sits inside the ring rather than under it, and knocks and pressure are carried by the surrounding tissue instead.

It is worn for olecranon bursitis, for lasting inflammation after a blow to the elbow, for insertion tendinopathy of the triceps tendon, after removal of the bursa, and for sulcus ulnaris syndrome, where the ulnar nerve is irritated as it passes behind the elbow.

The sleeve is fitted by the circumference around the elbow joint with the arm held straight.

Do not dry it in the tumble dryer, on the heater or in the microwave

The OLECRANON (the bony tip of the elbow) SUPPORT can be worn on the right or left side.
Pull the support over your elbow. The SPORLASTIC flag points upwards towards the body, the seam is centred on the front of the elbow.
Align the OLECRANON SUPPORT so that the anatomical recess of the silicone profile pad embeds the bony prominence of your elbow tip.
