The JOBST® FarrowWrap® Lite Footpiece is made in the range's lightest fabric — double-laminated, durable and soft — the one fabric JOBST builds at 20-30 mmHg and directs at mild to moderate swelling. It wraps the foot in overlapping hook-and-loop bands that are re-tightened as the swelling rises and falls, and it is normally worn with a legpiece so the whole lower limb is covered — swelling left untreated at the foot tends to stay there. The short-stretch fabric holds low resting pressure and high working pressure, so the foot is comfortable at rest and firmly contained with every step you take. Two Farrow Standard liners are supplied with the footpiece, and a trim-to-fit version is cut to fit where the ready-to-wear chart does not.

Is this the right one for you?

Choose this if your foot and ankle swell as well as your lower leg, and a below-knee wrap alone leaves the foot untreated.

Is the lower leg swollen too? JOBST FarrowWrap Lite Legpiece 20-30 mmHg wraps the leg below the knee, and is the piece the footpiece is normally worn with.

Does the swelling reach above the knee? JOBST FarrowWrap Lite Thighpiece 20-30 mmHg takes the wrap up over the thigh, with a Kneepiece included.

  • Helps prevent the limb from swelling during the day or night

  • Double-laminated short-stretch compression fabric (LITE)
  • Hook-and-loop (VELCRO brand) adjustable bands

Measure first thing in the morning, before swelling builds, with the tape snug but not tight.

  • Regular and Long are lengths, not widths — the same Size in a shorter or longer leg piece.
  • TTF is trim-to-fit: cut to length when it is fitted, instead of taken from the ready-to-wear lengths.

  • Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) with a mild detergent
  • Do not use fabric softener, optical brightener or stain remover
  • Do not wring or twist; dry flat only — never tumble dry, and never on a radiator or in direct sunlight
  • Do not bleach, dry clean or iron
  • Fold each hook-and-loop band back on itself before washing and when you take the wrap off; it protects the fabric and makes the wrap easier to put back on

JOBST® publishes the step-by-step application on the insert card supplied with the wrap and in its donning videos — follow those and your clinician's instructions.

  • Cover any open wound with an appropriate dressing before anything else goes on
  • Put a Farrow Standard liner on first; JOBST's donning video shows the liner applied under the footpiece and legpiece together
  • Wrap the footpiece over the liner, then fit the legpiece above it if one has been prescribed
  • Tighten or loosen the bands through the day as the swelling changes
  • When you take the wrap off, fold each hook-and-loop band back on itself before putting it away or washing it
