The ManuTrain® is Bauerfeind's knitted wrist brace: a compression support for a wrist that is painful, irritated or recovering from an injury or an operation, worn when you still need to use the hand.

Rather than locking the joint, it partly limits the directions the wrist can move in, using a rigid thermoplastic stay along the palm side that a fitter can shape to your hand. Around it, the Train knit applies medical compression and a viscoelastic insert presses on the tissue as you move, an intermittent massage that improves circulation and helps pain and swelling settle. The result is a brace you can wear through a working day without giving up your grip.

Choose Left or Right to match the hand — the stay and the insert are shaped for one side. Like every Bauerfeind product, it is made in Germany.

Is this the right one for you?

Choose this if you have sprained or strained the wrist.

Everyday ache from overuse? Sporlastic Wrist Strap is a lighter support.

Need the wrist held still? Bauerfeind ManuLoc Wrist Brace immobilises it after injury or surgery.

  • Machine wash separately at 30°C (86°F) with a liquid detergent.
  • Remove the hook-and-loop (Velcro) straps before washing where possible, or fasten them firmly in their designated place.
  • Remove the stay and the pad before washing if they can be taken out.
