Immobilization of the wrist

ManuLoc® is a wrist orthosis which is prescribed for use following diagnosis of a "mouse hand", carpal tunnel syndrome or after an operation or other irritation. It keeps the wrist still while allowing gripping movements. Inappropriate mechanical stress is avoided. Thanks to its breathable materials and additional air holes, it still feels very comfortable even after hours of wear.

This is a medical-grade orthopaedic brace that incorporates rigid stays. Braces and orthoses built with rigid components are usually covered under Canadian extended health benefit plans (e.g. Sun Life, Manulife, Great-West Life, Blue Cross, Green Shield Canada) when accompanied by a valid prescription from your physician or nurse practitioner. It may also qualify as an eligible medical expense under the CRA's Medical Expense Tax Credit. Sized on wrist circumference — measure around the narrowest part of the wrist, just below the wrist bone. Check this product's size chart below before ordering. If you're between sizes, contact us and we'll help you measure.

Machine wash in cold or cool water (about 30°C/86°F) on the gentle or delicate cycle
Wash with similar colours using a regular detergent with no additives -- avoid fabric softener
Use a mesh laundry bag, and secure hook-and-loop (velcro) tabs first to protect the knit
Hand washing is gentler and may extend the product's life
For light use, washing every two to three wears is enough; heavy use needs more frequent washing
Lay flat to air dry -- do not hang to dry (the fabric can stretch out of shape) and do not tumble dry
