Activation, relief, and stabilization of the lumbar spine. The LumboTrain® back brace provides active support and stabilization while helping to relieve pain and pressure.

The LumboTrain back brace can help relieve the lumbar spine in cases of chronic or acute pain. The circular knit compression material relieves pressure on the lower back by activating the core muscles thus improving posture and stability. In combination with the compression knit, the rigid viscoelastic lumbar pad massages the tissues to stimulate circulation and local metabolism. During movement, the multiple massage nubs on the lumbar pad activate specific pressure points to relieve tension, activate the muscles and reduce pain.

Available in a straight and fitted version, which offers a more tailored shape and high cut leg (previously LumboTrain Lady). Like every Bauerfeind product, it is made in Germany.

  • Machine wash separately at 30°C (86°F) with a liquid detergent.
  • Remove the hook-and-loop (Velcro) straps before washing where possible, or fasten them firmly in their designated place.
  • Remove the pad before washing if it can be taken out.
  • Use a laundry net and keep the spin cycle to a maximum of 500 revolutions per minute.
  • Air dry only — do not tumble dry, or the knitted fabric may be impaired.
  • Wash regularly so the knitted fabric keeps its compression.
