Stabilizing support for pain relief of the SI joints/pelvis.

The SacroLoc® orthosis stabilizes the pelvis and delivers pain relief to the sacroiliac (SI) joint and pelvis in cases of sacroiliac joint syndrome (SI joint syndrome) and pain. The elastic mesh material and two adjustable straps provide 360° compression which straightens the pelvis and relieves the ligaments. A removable two-part rigid visco-elastic dorsal pad fit precisely over the SI joint to provide additional support.

Is this the right one for you?

Choose this if the pain is across your pelvis or hips — low down and off to the side, rather than in your spine.

  • High level of patient compliance as the orthosis can be worn inconspicuously under clothing

This is a medical-grade orthopaedic brace that incorporates rigid structural support. Braces and orthoses built with rigid components are usually covered under Canadian extended health benefit plans (e.g. Sun Life, Manulife, Great-West Life, Blue Cross, Green Shield Canada) when accompanied by a valid prescription from your physician or nurse practitioner. It may also qualify as an eligible medical expense under the CRA's Medical Expense Tax Credit. We're happy to provide a pre-approval form for your insurance provider — just contact us before ordering. Coverage details, annual limits, and prescription requirements vary by plan, so please confirm your specific benefits with your provider and keep your prescription and itemized receipt for your claim.

Sized on trunk circumference — measure all the way around your middle, over the waist and hips, where the brace sits. Check this product's size chart below before ordering. If you're between sizes, contact us and we'll help you measure.

  • Machine wash in cold or cool water (about 30°C/86°F) on the gentle or delicate cycle
  • Wash with similar colours using a regular detergent with no additives -- avoid fabric softener
  • Use a mesh laundry bag, and secure hook-and-loop (velcro) tabs first to protect the knit
  • Hand washing is gentler and may extend the product's life
  • For light use, washing every two to three wears is enough; heavy use needs more frequent washing
  • Lay flat to air dry -- do not hang to dry (the fabric can stretch out of shape) and do not tumble dry
