The METARSO® is a slim knitted band worn around the front of the foot for splay foot — where the transverse arch has dropped and the metatarsal heads, the knuckles behind the toes, take the weight instead of sharing it.

A pad sits under the arch and lifts it, moving the load off the metatarsal heads and off the soft tissue underneath. The pad is not fixed: it can be moved until it sits exactly where the pressure is, and the knit is shaped in three dimensions so it follows the ball of the big toe without bunching. Hook-and-loop fasteners set how tight the band pulls, so the compression can be adjusted through the day.

It is thin enough to be worn inside a normal shoe.

No manufacturer or distributor source describes it as containing rigid or semi-rigid bracing, which is what plans look for in a brace, so it is not automatically eligible.
