Sporlastic MANU-HiT AIR T Wrist Brace

The MANU-HiT® AIR T holds the wrist, fingers and thumb in position where a neurological condition is pulling them out of it — flaccid or spastic paralysis of the hand, and the flexion contractures that follow if the hand is left curled.

Its working part is an air chamber under the palm and fingers, inflated with the supplied hand pump. Adding or letting out air changes how far the hand is opened, so the position can be moved on gradually as the hand gives — that is what makes it dynamic rather than a fixed splint. A reinforcement splint with an aluminium core runs along the forearm and can be shaped to the wrist angle; the padding over it is breathable, and circular hook-and-loop fasteners mean the brace can be put on by a carer or with one hand.

A replacement cover is supplied, and the cover washes separately in the laundry bag provided.

Is this the right one for you?

Choose this if weakness, spasticity or a neuromuscular condition is holding the wrist and hand in the wrong position.

Need the wrist held still? Sporlastic MANU-CAST ORGANIC FX Wrist Brace immobilises it after injury or surgery.
