  • Wash COXA-HiT® gently in lukewarm water (30 °C) with mild detergent and air dry
  • Do not dry it in the tumble dryer, on the heating or in the microwave
  • Close the hook-and-loop fasteners before washing; these will remain functional longer and damage to other garments can be avoided

Sporlastic prints these steps in the instructions for use supplied with the product.

  • Open the hook-and-loop fasteners of the support.
  • Loosely attach the upper waist belt to the side of the large fleece on the leg section.
  • The waist belt of the support is placed about 5 cm below the navel.
  • While doing so, reach with your fingers into the gripping aid provided at the end of the hip straps.
  • Apply the support so that it creates a comfortable compression. Now take the upper hip belt that you fastened loosely at the side and pull it firmly over the belt underneath. The silver-coloured compression control strip should be under full tension; if it is not, COXA-HiT® has been applied too loosely.
  • To put the leg section in place, use the integrated gripping aid on the inner thigh strap.
  • The thigh belt is now closed circularly.
  • The SPORLASTIC compression control strip attached here is fully tensioned when correctly applied.
  • The enclosed cold/hot pad is used as directed by the doctor for thermotherapy and to increase the compression effect.
  • Please follow the application instructions on the enclosed cold/hot pad.
  • The SPORLASTIC compression control strip shows at a glance whether COXA-HiT has been applied with enough tension: fully tensioned means it is on correctly, slack means it is too loose. Doctor, patient or nursing staff can all check it.
  • In postoperative use, COXA-HiT can be combined with an anti-thrombosis stocking.
