The Sigvaris Soft Silhouette Legging is a graduated compression legging for women, knitted in mild 15-20 mmHg compression. Graduated compression is strongest at the ankle and eases as it travels up the leg. It covers both legs to the waist and is open at the foot.

Soft Silhouette is a compression legging rather than hosiery: a thicker soft-stretch microfibre with a subtle ribbed surface and a foldable comfort-stretch waistband, cut to shape the leg and smooth the skin under clothes. It is open at the foot and pairs with dresses, tunics and shirts the way an ordinary legging does.

Size comes off a height-and-weight chart rather than a tape measurement around the leg.

Wash after every wear, which maintains the compression and keeps the garment hygienic
Hand washing is recommended; you may machine wash on the gentle cycle in lukewarm water up to 40°C (104°F)
Turn the garment inside out and place it in a laundry net before washing
Use a mild detergent; never use bleach or fabric softener
Rinse well and air dry; do not tumble dry, iron or dry clean
Store at room temperature in a dry place, away from light and direct heat
Alternate two or more pairs, and replace them after about six months of daily wear, as compression diminishes with wearing and washing
