This is Sigvaris' own detergent for compression garments — a pure, organic, biodegradable fabric wash formulated not to attack the elastane that does the compressing.

That is the point of it rather than a marketing line. Ordinary detergents, and especially bleach and fabric softeners, break down the elastic fibres, and a stocking that has lost its elastane has lost its compression class while still looking perfectly fine. Washing after every wear is what keeps a garment working; washing it in the wrong thing is what shortens its life.

Half a teaspoon (2.5 ml) is enough for 2.5 litres of water. Rinse well afterwards. It works on any fine washable, not only compression.
