This is an inelastic compression wrap for the foot and ankle — a short-stretch garment with adjustable straps that takes the place of a bandage. It sits still on the limb at rest and pushes back hard when the muscle contracts, which is what an inelastic wrap is for: low resting pressure, high working pressure.

Standard is the middle of the three Compreboot® foot wraps. Sigvaris prints 30-40 mmHg for it, in a breathable four-way stretch fabric that gives firm compression around the ankle and low-stretch material that conforms to the shape of the foot.

It closes completely around the foot, so the compression is continuous rather than stopping at a seam, and the low-stretch material holds the shape it is set to. It is sold alongside the 20-50 mmHg adjustable Compreflex® and Coolflex® wraps and pairs with them; the figure above is the compression Sigvaris publishes for this boot itself.

Length — Regular or Long, set by the length from your heel to the ball of your foot

Close all hook-and-loop fasteners before washing
Machine wash on the gentle cycle at 30°C (86°F), in a mesh laundry bag
Use a mild detergent; never use bleach or fabric softener
Tumble dry on low heat or air dry; air drying is recommended to extend the life of the wrap
Store at room temperature in a dry place, away from light and direct heat
Keep the wrap away from ointments, oils and greases, which shorten its service life
Wash it as often as needed
