medi Shoulder Action is a shoulder brace with a strap system that lets the arm move within a set range and stops it going beyond. It is thin and breathable enough to be worn against the skin under loose clothing, including during sport.

It is for cases needing physiological shoulder movement reinforced and stabilised: mild to middling instability of the shoulder joint, non-surgical treatment after an acute or recurring dislocation or partial dislocation, and the second phase of rehabilitation after surgery for shoulder instability.

The straps are adjusted individually so the shoulder cannot reach the position where it is most vulnerable — lifted out to the side and turned outwards. medi describes the mechanism as range-of-motion protection: the strap system reacts to sudden forceful lifting of the arm, and to force from outside, before the shoulder reaches 90 degrees of abduction. It can be put on without help and adjusted easily afterwards. Made as a left or a right.
