Leukomed® skin sensitive is an absorbent post-operative dressing for skin that ordinary adhesives damage — ageing, cortisone-thinned, fragile or parchment skin, and neonatal care.

It uses silicone rather than acrylic or rubber adhesive. Silicone adheres reliably but does not bond into the skin the way traditional adhesives do, so removal is atraumatic and close to pain-free, and the dressing can be changed as often as the wound needs without the skin paying for it each time.

The pad absorbs blood and wound fluid, the edges are rounded so the dressing does not curl up, and it is sterile. Supplied in four sizes from 5 x 7.2 cm to 10 x 25 cm, in packs of 20 and packs of 5.
