Delta-Cast® Conformable is a non-fibreglass casting tape built for fit. Its knitted polyester substrate stretches in three directions, so it follows an awkward contour in one pass without tucking, folding or creasing — which is what keeps a cast free of the pressure points that make it uncomfortable to wear.

The resin sets in about three to five minutes and laminates strongly between layers, giving a long-lasting cast that resists breaking down. Rigidity is set by how many layers are applied, so the same roll serves ordinary fracture casting, focused rigidity casting and total contact casting for diabetic foot ulcers. It is highly radiolucent for clear imaging, and removable casts can be made and re-applied.

Supplied as rolls — 2.5 cm x 1.8 m and 5 to 12.5 cm x 3.6 m — in white plus a range of colours.
