Cutimed® Sorbion® Sachet S is the classic super-absorbent dressing in the Sorbion range — the plain rectangular sachet that suits most wound types and most sites, and the one to start from unless the wound needs a shape or a border.

The core is a fibre matrix that draws large volumes of exudate in and locks it as a gel, and keeps holding it under compression — so dressings are changed less often, up to four days apart. The matrix stays stable even when saturated, so it does not form lumps or pressure points and stays in full contact with the wound. Along with the fluid it takes up wound debris and traps micro-organisms, and it keeps the wound moist by gel formation. There are no binders or adhesives in it.

Either side can be applied to the wound, and it is well tolerated and low in odour. Sterile, in six sizes from 7.5 x 7.5 cm to 20 x 30 cm, ten dressings a box.
