Cutimed Sorbact Contact is the most versatile dressing in the Sorbact range — it suits any exudate level and both deep and superficial wounds, and unfolds to cover a far larger area than its packed size. Its surface is coated with a hydrophobic fatty acid derivative that wound bacteria and fungi are naturally drawn to; once bound they cannot return to the wound bed, and they leave with each dressing change. The action is physical rather than chemical, so nothing is killed in the wound and no cell debris or endotoxin is left behind to delay healing.
