Cuticell® Contact is a silicone wound contact layer: a transparent, perforated sheet placed directly on the wound and left there while the absorbent dressing above it is changed as often as needed. Only the wound-facing side is adhesive, so the secondary dressing lifts away without disturbing the wound bed.

The perforations are sized so that even thick, viscous exudate passes through into the dressing above rather than collecting underneath, which reduces the risk of the skin around the wound macerating. The sheet is highly conformable and highly transparent, so the wound can be inspected through it.

It can stay in place for several days, with minimal risk of tissue growing into it. Sterile, in four sizes from 5 x 5 cm to 10 x 40 cm, plus a 10 cm x 7 m roll.
