The knee rest is a sturdy foam block covered in washable vinyl, used to hold a patient's limb in position while a cast is applied and to keep them comfortable while it sets — a limb that is properly supported does not drift, and a cast set on a drifting limb has to be redone.

The adjustable cast stand raises and lowers from 31.8 cm to 53.3 cm so the working height suits both the clinician and the patient, and it comes with a reusable plastic drip pan to catch water and plaster.
