The ViscoPed® S is a full-length silicone insole that cushions the whole sole of the foot rather than one spot. It is used when the sole is tender under load, and when the forefoot or toes are deformed and the pressure needs spreading out.

Pressure-relief zones in the forefoot and heel take the peaks out of each step and distribute the load across the foot, while a gentle rise under the arch supports the longitudinal arch and counteracts a flattened foot. Because the insole damps impact rather than just padding it, the ankle, knee, hip and spine take less of the shock too.

It is moulded from a high-quality silicone that is gentle on skin and easy to wipe clean, with a raised heel edge that keeps the insole from sliding inside the shoe. It fits walking, sports and work shoes, is supplied in pairs, and is made in a wider run of sizes than the standard ViscoPed. Like every Bauerfeind product, it is made in Germany.
