VenoTrain® Soft Arm is the arm version of the VenoTrain Soft knit — a seamless circular-knit sleeve, very fine, very soft, and discreet enough to wear under a sleeve without anyone noticing. Its finely knitted fabric gently massages the skin as the arm moves, which helps drain fluid that has backed up.

The part that sets it apart is the comfort elbow: an extra-soft, extra-elastic zone at the inside of the elbow, so the arm bends freely all day without the band of pressure a plain sleeve creates there. The top of the upper arm is finished so the sleeve does not slide down. Bauerfeind offers it as a gentle, discreet option for mild to moderate lymphedema and lipedema, with a noticeable effect that holds for the whole time it is worn.

This listing is the arm sleeve in 20-30 mmHg — Bauerfeind's compression class 1. It is a sleeve for the arm only; it does not include a glove or a hand piece. Like every Bauerfeind product, it is made in Germany.

Is this the right one for you?

Choose this if the swelling is in your arm, not your leg.

Limb swells and changes size through the day? JOBST FarrowWrap Gauntlet 20-30 mmHg wraps on and re-tightens as the swelling goes down.

  • Machine wash in cold or cool water (about 30°C/86°F) on the gentle or delicate cycle
  • Wash with similar colours using a regular detergent with no additives
  • Never use fabric softener — it can impair the medical effect of a compression garment
  • Use a mesh laundry bag to protect the knit; hand washing is gentler still and may extend the garment's life
  • For light use, washing every two to three wears is enough; heavy use needs more frequent washing
  • Wash regularly — regular washing is what keeps the knit and the seams at full compression
  • Lay flat to air dry — do not hang to dry (the fabric can stretch out of shape) and do not tumble dry
