This is the Spinova® Osteo ordered with the reclinator sized on its own. It is the same orthosis as the standard Spinova Osteo — a lightweight brace that stabilises the thoracic spine, corrects posture and activates the back muscles for people with osteoporosis, stable osteoporotic vertebral fractures or a painful hunched back — and it leaves the chest and abdomen free so it is unobtrusive under clothing.

The reclinator is the long aluminium bar up the back that does the straightening, and its size follows the length of your back. The standard listing pairs a back length with a pelvic support size in one code, such as M3. Where those two do not pair up, Bauerfeind supplies the orthosis with the reclinator partially assembled so that half can be chosen independently.

Because of that, this is a Spinova Osteo ordering option rather than a different brace, and it is chosen as part of a fitting.
