After ligament injuries, the SecuTec Genu® Flex reliably stabilizes and supports the knee joint. The orthosis relieves the strain on the ligaments, protects you from damaging movements and supports the healing process.

The SecuTec® Genu Flex offer reliable stabilization according to the 4-point principle by combining a semi-flexible frame construction and non-elastic straps. The orthosis offers the “flexibility” of a custom fit even during ongoing treatment, thanks to Flex- Links on the upper and lower frame that can be added or removed.

This is a medical-grade orthopaedic brace that incorporates rigid structural support. Braces and orthoses built with rigid components are usually covered under Canadian extended health benefit plans (e.g. Sun Life, Manulife, Great-West Life, Blue Cross, Green Shield Canada) when accompanied by a valid prescription from your physician or nurse practitioner. It may also qualify as an eligible medical expense under the CRA's Medical Expense Tax Credit. Two measurements, both taken with the knee slightly bent: around the thigh 14 cm above the middle of the knee, and around the calf 12 cm below it. Check this product's size chart below before ordering. If you're between sizes, contact us and we'll help you measure.

Machine wash in cold or cool water (about 30°C/86°F) on the gentle or delicate cycle
Wash with similar colours using a regular detergent with no additives -- avoid fabric softener
Use a mesh laundry bag, and secure hook-and-loop (velcro) tabs first to protect the knit
Hand washing is gentler and may extend the product's life
For light use, washing every two to three wears is enough; heavy use needs more frequent washing
Lay flat to air dry -- do not hang to dry (the fabric can stretch out of shape) and do not tumble dry
