Relief and stabilization of the shoulder joint.

If the shoulder is weak, swollen, painful or recovering from a surgery, the OmoTrain® brace provides relief and stability for the shoulder. It relieves pain and protects the joint without limiting mobility. The shoulder muscles are activated and the joint benefits from improved stability. If required, an additional pressure cushion (pad) can produce a local massage effect on the soft tissues of the shoulder. Like every Bauerfeind product, it is made in Germany.

  • The compressive knitted fabric and the tensile force exerted by the strap system help center the glenohumeral joint
  • The viscoelastic Delta pad with frictional nubs massages the shoulder’s soft tissue during movement; joint perception is improved, the absorption of edemas and effusions is accelerated and pain is reduced

This is a medical-grade orthopaedic brace that incorporates rigid structural support. Braces and orthoses built with rigid components are usually covered under Canadian extended health benefit plans (e.g. Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, Blue Cross, Green Shield Canada) when accompanied by a valid prescription from your physician or nurse practitioner. It also delivers 20-30 mmHg of graduated compression. It may also qualify as an eligible medical expense under the CRA's Medical Expense Tax Credit.   • Machine wash separately at 30°C (86°F) with a liquid detergent.
  • Remove the hook-and-loop (Velcro) straps before washing where possible, or fasten them firmly in their designated place.
  • Remove the pad before washing if it can be taken out.
  • Use a laundry net and keep the spin cycle to a maximum of 500 revolutions per minute.
  • Air dry only — do not tumble dry, or the knitted fabric may be impaired.
  • Wash regularly so the knitted fabric keeps its compression.
