The OmoLoc® is an arm sling that holds the shoulder still — straight after shoulder surgery, after a dislocated shoulder has been put back in, or while a shoulder injury is being assessed before an operation.

The arm rests in a wide hand and arm loop that spreads its weight instead of hanging it from a single strap, and a shoulder strap carries the load across the body. Padded tabs sit against the skin, and the fastening has a finger pocket so the sling can be adjusted with the good hand. Holding the joint still is what reduces the pain: the less the shoulder is moved, the less it hurts.

Bauerfeind builds it open and light so washing and dressing around a wound is easier, and it is designed to be worn at night as well as during the day. Like every Bauerfeind product, it is made in Germany.
