This is a medical-grade orthopaedic brace that incorporates semi-rigid structural support. Braces and orthoses built with semi-rigid components are usually covered under Canadian extended health benefit plans (e.g. Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, Blue Cross, Green Shield Canada) when accompanied by a valid prescription from your physician or nurse practitioner. Machine wash separately at 30°C (86°F) with a liquid detergent.
Remove the hook-and-loop (Velcro) straps before washing where possible, or fasten them firmly in their designated place.
Remove the pads before washing if they can be taken out.
Use a laundry net and keep the spin cycle to a maximum of 500 revolutions per minute.
Air dry only — do not tumble dry, or the knitted fabric may be impaired.
Wash regularly so the knitted fabric keeps its compression.
