This is a medical-grade orthopaedic brace that incorporates semi-rigid structural support. Braces and orthoses built with semi-rigid components are usually covered under Canadian extended health benefit plans (e.g. Sun Life, Manulife, Great-West Life, Blue Cross, Green Shield Canada) when accompanied by a valid prescription from your physician or nurse practitioner. It also delivers 20-30 mmHg of graduated compression. It may also qualify as an eligible medical expense under the CRA's Medical Expense Tax Credit. Sized on ankle circumference — measure around the narrowest part of the ankle, just above the ankle bone. Check this product's size chart below before ordering. If you're between sizes, contact us and we'll help you measure.

• Machine wash in cold or cool water (about 30°C/86°F) on the gentle or delicate cycle
• Wash with similar colours using a regular detergent with no additives -- avoid fabric softener
• Use a mesh laundry bag, and secure hook-and-loop (velcro) tabs first to protect the knit
• Hand washing is gentler and may extend the product's life
• For light use, washing every two to three wears is enough; heavy use needs more frequent washing
• Lay flat to air dry -- do not hang to dry (the fabric can stretch out of shape) and do not tumble dry
