  • Extends the maximum torso circumference of a compatible back brace by up to 10 centimeters if the biggest available size is too small
  • Compatible with LordoLoc, LumboLoc Forte, LumboLoc Support, LumboLoc Unload, LumboLoc Immo, and SofTec Dorso

This is an optional add-on that extends the maximum torso circumference of a compatible Bauerfeind back brace, not a brace in itself. It contains no rigid or semi-rigid bracing and provides no compression on its own, and Bauerfeind advises that an add-on like this typically would not be covered by insurance separately — a plan assesses the brace it is fitted to. Bought on its own, this part is generally not eligible for reimbursement, so please confirm your plan's terms with your provider before ordering. If you are claiming the back brace it extends, contact us and we'll prepare an itemized pre-approval package for your insurance provider.

See this product's size chart below for the measurements it is sized on. If you're between sizes, contact us and we'll help you measure.

  • Machine wash in cold or cool water (about 30°C/86°F) on the gentle or delicate cycle
  • Wash with similar colours using a regular detergent with no additives -- avoid fabric softener
  • Use a mesh laundry bag, and secure hook-and-loop (velcro) tabs first to protect the knit
  • Hand washing is gentler and may extend the product's life
  • For light use, washing every two to three wears is enough; heavy use needs more frequent washing
  • Lay flat to air dry -- do not hang to dry (the fabric can stretch out of shape) and do not tumble dry
