This is a medical-grade orthopaedic brace that incorporates rigid stays. Braces and orthoses built with rigid components are usually covered under Canadian extended health benefit plans (e.g. Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, Blue Cross, Green Shield Canada) when accompanied by a valid prescription from your physician or nurse practitioner. Standard fit.

The 30° marked on the diagram is 30° of bend from a straight leg — a slightly bent knee, not a right angle.

Machine wash separately at 30°C (86°F) with a liquid detergent.
Remove the hook-and-loop (Velcro) straps before washing where possible, or fasten them firmly in their designated place.
Remove pads or splints before washing if they can be taken out.
Use a laundry net and keep the spin cycle to a maximum of 500 revolutions per minute.
Air dry only — do not tumble dry, or the knitted fabric may be impaired.
Wash regularly so the knitted fabric keeps its compression.
