The Aspen® Vista® 464 TLSO supports the thoracic and lumbar spine after surgery, a fracture or an injury, using a belt at the waist plus an upright panel and a sternal pad that carry the support up the front of the chest.

Shoulder straps can be run in three configurations — under the arms, over the shoulders, or with buckles onto the back panel — so the brace can be set up for different builds and different tolerances. The sternal pad slides up and down on the abdominal panel, a bar extender adds height for taller wearers, and the panels can be trimmed by a fitter to sit at the midline.

One size covers the range, adjusted at the belt's own sizing rivets, and it steps down to the lower Vista lower-spine configurations as recovery progresses.

Aspen prints these steps; the first fitting of a post-surgical brace should be supervised by your clinician.

Set the belt size first: push the male rivets on the belt through the right adjustment holes in the sizing mechanism. For smaller sizes, slide the side panel through the sizing slot and fit the rivets from underneath.
Pull the belt taut so the rivets lock in place.
Centre the back panel as low as it will comfortably sit, then slide the abdominal panel and sternal pad sideways so both sit at the midline of the body.
For a taller wearer, add the bar extender to the abdominal panel sheath: pry the button back and slide the aluminium strut until the button locks in the right hole.
Set the sternal pad height by pressing the button marked with the leaf logo inward and raising or lowering the pad.
Pull the tabs strongly away from the body — tighter than you need, then ease off to the right fit. The left tab tightens the lower part, the right the upper.
Attach the underarm control straps to the sternal pad and pull them to tighten, so the straps and pad sit securely. They can be repositioned over the shoulders instead, with buckles onto the top of the back panel.
