Actimove Sports Edition Ankle Stabilizer - Criss-Cross Straps

$55.99

The Actimove® Sports Edition Ankle Stabilizer mimics sports taping. Criss-cross straps cross the instep the way an athletic trainer would lay tape, adding stability around the ankle and the arch of the foot, and a circular strap around the ankle keeps the whole thing from shifting during activity.

Underneath the straps is a compression sleeve: medical compression and balanced warmth support pain relief and healing while you keep playing. The material is a quick-drying performance fabric made with COOLMAX® AIR technology, so the strapping stays breathable through a match.

Neoprene-free and not made with natural rubber latex. One universal size, worn on the left or the right ankle.

Is this the right one for you?

Choose this if you have sprained the ankle or torn a ligament, or it keeps giving way.

For everyday aches or swelling: Actimove Sports Edition Ankle Support is a lighter compression support.

After a fracture or surgery: Actimove Standard Walker immobilises the ankle and foot.

This is a medical-grade compression support. Medical-grade compression is commonly covered under Canadian extended health benefit plans (e.g. Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, Blue Cross, Green Shield Canada) when accompanied by a valid prescription from your physician or nurse practitioner. It may also qualify as an eligible medical expense under the CRA's Medical Expense Tax Credit. We're happy to prepare an itemized estimate for your insurer — use Get an Insurance Estimate for this item, or add several to your cart and request one for everything at once. No charge, and it's not an order. Coverage details, annual limits, and prescription requirements vary by plan, so please confirm your specific benefits with your provider and keep your prescription and itemized receipt for your claim.

Check the size chart below. If your measurements don't fit a size on it, contact us and we'll help.

Size	Universal
Ankle circumference (cm)narrowest point, just above the ankle bone	20.5 – 26.5

Close all the straps before washing
Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle at 40 °C (104 °F) with a mild detergent
Do not bleach, dry-clean, tumble dry or iron
Lay it flat to dry, and make sure it is completely dry before wearing it again
Avoid laundry additives such as fabric softener, brightener or stain remover

Put it on with your foot flat on the ground, so the straps close against a loaded ankle rather than a hanging one.
