Actimove® Manus Forte is a strong-support wrist brace that holds the wrist in a functional position to help manage pain. Two anatomically shaped aluminium stays - one along the palm, one on the back of the hand - give the stabilisation, and both can be moulded by hand for an individual fit.

The tubular slip-on design pulls on like a glove and can be applied, adjusted and removed with one hand, which matters when the other hand is the injured one. Three straps set the tension, and their hook-and-loop closures are secured so the straps cannot slip out of the buckles.

A wide thumb opening with soft edges leaves the fingers and thumb free to work, and the palmar stay can be taken out later in rehabilitation when less stability is wanted. Ordered left or right.

Is this the right one for you?

Choose this if the wrist needs holding still after an injury or surgery.

Sprained or strained it? Sporlastic MANU-HiT Wrist Brace supports a sprain while it settles.

  • Size — XS, S/M or L/XL, set by the wrist figure in brackets

  • Take the metal stay out of its pocket and close the wrist strap before washing
  • Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30 °C (85 °F) with a mild detergent
  • Do not bleach, dry-clean, tumble dry or iron
  • Lay the brace flat to dry, and make sure it is completely dry before wearing it again
  • Avoid laundry additives such as fabric softener, brightener or stain remover

Fit the brace with the hand relaxed; it goes on like a glove.

  • Pull the brace over the wrist, putting the thumb through the opening
  • Close the lower strap first
  • Then close the upper strap
  • Close the middle strap last
  • Use moderate tension: snug, without restricting the fingers
