The THUMB SADDLE JOINT BRACE partly immobilises the thumb’s base joint, its saddle joint and the wrist bones beneath them, while leaving the wrist itself free to move and the grip usable.

The brace body is thermoplastic: warmed, it can be shaped to the individual hand and reshaped later if the thumb’s position changes. Its construction is deliberately open, so air moves through it and moisture does not build up underneath — the difference between a brace that can be worn all day and one that is taken off by lunchtime.

It is fitted by wrist circumference and comes in three sizes.

Always slip the affected hand into the padding insert first.
Now place the THUMB SADDLE JOINT BRACE over the padding on the thumb and fix it around the wrist with the hook-and-loop fastener.
