The NEURODYN® CARBON is a dynamic foot flexor brace with bar shifted toward the rear.

The NEURODYN CARBON is a Dynamic foot lifting brace with a rearward bridge design. It provides active dynamic support during toe-off in walking due to the energy return of the carbon spring, while the posterior bridge is located behind the base 5 of the metatarsal bone. The NEURODYN CARBON is characterized by its flexible anatomically moulded frontal support and high breathability pad due to the 3D SPACE KNIT distance knit. Thanks to the special clasp, it can be easily put on with one hand.

Available in 3 sizes, fitted by shoe sizes.

  • Clean the splint and shin shell of the NEURODYN® CARBON with a damp cloth and gently wash the padding in lukewarm water (30 °C) with mild detergent and air dry
  • The padding of the shin guard can be unclipped for cleaning
  • Do not dry it in a tumble dryer, on a radiator or in the microwave

Sporlastic prints these steps in the instructions for use supplied with the product.

  • Remove the original sole of your shoe.
  • Open both straps at the hook-and-loop end that sticks to the lower leg shell. It has an orange ring.
  • Place NEURODYN CARBON in the shoe and make sure that the foot plate fits snugly with the glued-on insole.
  • Slip into the shoe in a sitting position. After you have put on the shoe, position your foot forwards until your lower leg is in contact with the frontal support.
  • Now grasp the open hook-and-loop end of the upper fastener and guide it around the lower leg. Fasten the hook-and-loop end with the attached deflection loop on the strap area that lies over the frontal attachment.
  • Repeat this process with the lower strap.
  • If necessary, you can now use the hook-and-loop ends with the black ring to fine-tune the belt tension.
  • The selection of the right shoe is crucial for the function of the NEURODYN CARBON.
  • Discuss the correct footwear with your technician. The effective heel height of the shoe should be approx. 10 mm.
  • Closed shoes with a removable footbed are best suited. This provides sufficient volume for the brace. It is important that the heel is enclosed.
  • There is no body weight limit for the brace.
  • There are also no restrictions for everyday activities.
  • However, the brace is not approved for sporting activities.
