These are donning gloves — the single accessory Sigvaris recommends to everyone putting on compression. The textured finger pads and palms grip the fabric, so the garment can be drawn up and smoothed out instead of pinched and dragged.

Two things follow from that. Your fingernails and rings never touch the knit, which is the commonest way a stocking is holed, so the garment lasts longer. And the compression ends up evenly distributed up the leg rather than bunched, because you can actually smooth it.

These are the latex-free version, for anyone with a latex allergy or working in a latex-free environment — Sigvaris' other donning glove has a latex grip surface. Supplied as a case of twelve pairs.
