This is an inelastic compression wrap for the foot and ankle — a short-stretch garment with adjustable straps that takes the place of a bandage. It sits still on the limb at rest and pushes back hard when the muscle contracts, which is what an inelastic wrap is for: low resting pressure, high working pressure.

This is the Coolflex® foot piece. The same breathable Spacer Fabric™ mesh and durable metal hook closures as the calf wrap, in a low-profile shape that fits inside most footwear, with a built-in application sleeve so it can be put on without help.

Compression is set by the wearer rather than knitted in, anywhere across the 20-50 mmHg range, using the indicators built into the straps — so it can be re-tensioned through the day as the limb changes size, and stepped down as swelling comes off.

Size — set by the two foot circumferences; Medium / Large and X Large / XX Large are each one size, not a choice between two
Length — Regular or Long, set by the length from your heel to the ball of your foot

Close all hook-and-loop fasteners before washing
Machine wash on the gentle cycle at 30°C (86°F), in a mesh laundry bag
Use a mild detergent; never use bleach or fabric softener
Tumble dry on low heat or air dry; air drying is recommended to extend the life of the wrap
Store at room temperature in a dry place, away from light and direct heat
Keep the wrap away from ointments, oils and greases, which shorten its service life
Wash it as often as needed

Coolflex closes laterally with its EZ-Close™ pressure system, which is designed to be done one-handed.

Put the liner on first, smoothing out any wrinkles.
Slide the limb into the built-in application sleeve and settle the wrap in place.
Working from the ankle upward, close each of the eight hook tabs in turn.
Pull each tab until its visual indicator reads the pressure you have been prescribed — 20-30, 30-40 or 40-50 mmHg.
Re-check and re-close the tabs through the day as the limb changes size.
