Leukotape® P is a rigid strapping tape with a strong zinc oxide adhesive — the stiff, non-stretch tape a physiotherapist uses to hold a joint in one position rather than to compress it. It is what patellofemoral taping is usually done with.
The backing does not give, so a strip laid across a joint genuinely limits the movement it crosses; the high-strength adhesive holds through a training session or a working day. The tape is porous, so the skin underneath can still breathe, and it tears by hand, which means no scissors mid-application.
Supplied as a single size, 3.8 cm x 13.7 m. It is usually applied over an underwrap or a fixation sheet rather than straight onto skin.
