Leukomed® IV is a transparent film dressing shaped for intravenous lines. It secures peripheral and central venous catheters and cannulae and keeps the puncture site waterproof, bacteria-proof and visible.

The polyurethane film is ultra-thin, so it passes a high volume of moisture vapour and stays soft and flexible around a catheter hub; the skin-friendly adhesive is applied in a pattern rather than over the whole surface, which keeps the fixation secure without sacrificing breathability. A V-shaped slit fits the dressing around the line on the adult sizes, and rounded edges stop it rolling off. Some sizes add fixation strips and a documentation label.

Sterile. Four options: 6 x 8 cm, 7 x 9 cm, an 8.5 x 11.5 cm oval, and a 4.5 x 4.5 cm child size (no slit).
