Leukomed® is a sterile adhesive dressing with an absorbent pad, made for post-operative care. The pad takes up blood and wound fluid from a secreting wound; the non-woven backing around it holds the whole dressing down.

A non-adherent layer over the pad stops it sticking to the wound, so a dressing change does not disturb what has healed underneath, and the acrylic adhesive is skin-friendly and removes easily. The dressing stretches two ways and conforms well, the edges are rounded so they do not curl up at the corners, and it is breathable, which keeps the skin around the wound from macerating.

Individually sealed and sterile, and radio transparent. Supplied in seven sizes from 7.2 x 5 cm to 10 x 35 cm, in hospital packs of 50 and retail packs of 5.
