The JOBST® FarrowWrap® Classic Thighpiece is made in the stiffest FarrowWrap fabric, the one JOBST shapes to sit flat against skin folds and lobules (soft bulges of swollen tissue) rather than press into them — which is what a heavily distorted thigh needs. It comes with a FarrowWrap Kneepiece, so the thigh and the knee are treated together, and with two TG® Soft liners. Its overlapping hook-and-loop bands are re-tightened as the thigh reduces, and the short-stretch fabric stays quiet at rest while resisting the thigh muscle as it works. Short, Regular and Long are lengths, not widths, and the thighpiece is not made trim-to-fit. Classic garments are hand wash only.

Choose this if the swelling reaches above your knee and the thigh has deep folds or bulges a softer wrap digs into.

Is the thigh still a fairly regular shape? JOBST FarrowWrap Strong Thighpiece 30-40 mmHg is less stiff than Classic, and machine washes at 30°C.

Is the swelling below the knee only? JOBST FarrowWrap Classic Legpiece 30-40 mmHg covers the lower leg alone, in the same stiff fabric.

JOBST® publishes the step-by-step application on the insert card supplied with the wrap and in its donning videos — follow those and your clinician's instructions.

Cover any open wound with an appropriate dressing before anything else goes on
Put a TG Soft liner on first; JOBST's donning video shows the liner applied under the kneepiece and thighpiece together
Fit the FarrowWrap Kneepiece supplied with the wrap, then the thighpiece above it
Tighten or loosen the bands through the day as the swelling changes
When you take the wrap off, fold each hook-and-loop band back on itself before putting it away or washing it
